About the Chamber of Commerce:
The Donalsonville/Seminole County Chamber of Commerce has been serving Donalsonville and Seminole County since the 1920’s with the exception of a few years when it became inactive. Reactivated in 1961 by a group of dedicated community leaders, the chamber continues to aggressively promote the community’s assets.
A member based organization; the Chamber of Commerce accomplishes collectively what no one business or professional could accomplish alone. The power of the partnership between business leaders and political leaders create a community development force for our city and county.
Although the activities and projects have changed over the years, the Chamber of Commerce remains the only membership organization that is totally involved in the growth and development of the community with a pro business emphasis.
The Chamber of Commerce is:
• A voluntary association of business people and concerned individuals working to improve the economic and civic vitality of our community. • Independent of all other groups or organizations. • The voice of the business community.

The Chamber of Commerce answers thousands of phone calls annually concerning businesses, activities, lifestyles, and social aspects of our community.
BOARD MEMBERS
The Chamber of Commerce is governed by a 16 member Board of Directors, who meet on the 4th Thursday of each month at 12:00 noon. There are also 9 ex-officio members of the board representing various agencies and government entities.
The executive Committee is composed of 3 elected officers and the immediate past Chairman of the Board.
The day to day operations of the Chamber are managed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce. The President reports directly to the Chairman and the Board of Directors, and also serves as Secretary of the Board.
